Booking Conditions

When you book with WhatsOnGreece.com Villas, you agree to the terms and conditions stated here. Please ensure that you read them.

1. Making your booking

You can accomplish your booking by calling us on +30 26450 21272 or +30 694 8884252 , sending an enquiry online through our website WhatsOnGreece.com or by email at .

For all Villa Rental Reservations, the individual must be at least 18 years old at the time of the Booking and must be authorized to make the Booking based on all listed Booking Terms & Conditions agreed upon by all persons in the party. The Individual that has made the Booking is responsible for making all payments due for the Villa Rental Reservation. All communications will be sent to the Individual who has made Booking. Once we have received your payment (Deposit or Full Payment, we will confirm your Villa Rental Reservation by issuing a Proforma Invoice Contract stating all the Terms & Conditions of the Booking.

Prior to arrival to your Villa Rental or upon arrival to your Villa Rental , it is essential that you provide us with the details of all persons in your party and Passport ID. This can be done by email prior to your arrival date, or respectively during your Welcome Meeting at the Villa by a WhatsOnGreece.com team member.

2. Payment

In order to confirm your booking and your reservation be official, we will ask you for a 30% deposit of the total amount of your agreed upon Villa Rental. This must be paid 48hrs from the time we will send you the Proforma Invoice Rental Agreement. Once the deposit is received, we will email you a Villa Rental Contract which will constitute confirmation of payment, a receipt and contract signed by WhatsOnGreece.com. Please note that some exceptions do apply during holidays, weekends, strikes etc. Keep in mind that it may take up to 4 working days for the money transfer to be processed and deposited on our end. Please send us an email if you have any questions.

 

The balance of the total amount of the Villa Rental must be paid according to the Balance Due Date stated on Villa Rental Agreement, which is a due date agreed upon by you ‘Our Guest’ and WhatsOnGreece.com.

3. Our agreement

A Villa Rental Agreement between you ‘Our Guest’ and the provider WhatsOnGreece.com or additional service comes into existence as soon as the applicable payment is accepted at the time the booking is made. The Villa Agreement will state all relevant details in regard to the Villa Rental as previously agreed upon through email communication. Additionally, The Villa Rental Agreement will state all the Terms & Conditions of your Booking.

4. Insurance

We recommend that you and all members of your party travelling and staying with WhatsOnGreece.com take out Travel Insurance prior to booking with us. This will depend on your needs but we generally recommend that as a minimum your insurance should include cover for medical expenses, personal accident, repatriation in the event emergency, illness or accident, loss, theft, cancellation and your liability for any sums (including legal costs) which you may become liable to pay in case of loss or damage to your booked property or its contents during your stay. We would like to remind that you are responsible for your Travel and Holiday Insurance. WhatsOnGreece is not a Travel Agent, and does not offer such insurances.

 

5. Guest Cancellation

Do you need to cancel your Villa Rental Reservation after confirmation? The Individual in your party that has made the booking, must immediately advise us by email at . Cancellations can only take effect during business hours and must be notified only by email.

 

Period before departure within which written notification of cancellation is acceptable by WhatsOnGreece.com:

 

  • Cancellation requests will only be accepted by email to .
  • Cancellation 61 days or more prior to arrival will result in a refund of the deposit paid.
  • Cancellation between 60-31 days prior to arrival will result in a loss of the total amount paid.
  • Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival will result in a loss of the total cost of the reservation.
  • Early checkout will result in a 100% loss of the cost of the remaining nights.
  • ‘No-shows’ will not receive a refund.
  • Cancellation 60 – 7 days prior to arrival, in the case of Covid-19 restrictions between two countries, in the case of your flight being canceled or border restrictions between two countries, you will receive a voucher of the total amount paid that will be valid for the following 18 months.

 

We strongly advise that you take out Travel Insurance prior to or at the time of booking. Depending on the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim these cancellation charges. Claims must be made directly to the insurance company and we can supply a cancellation invoice upon request.

6. WhatsOnGreece.com Cancellation

In the exceptional circumstance where we can no longer offer you with the Villa you have Reserved, you will have a choice between one of the following options for the same Rental Period:

 

  • Accept another Villa of the same or higher rating for the same dates.
  • Accept an alternative property of lower rating for the same Rental Period and receive money back in the overall cost between the original and the substitute Villa.
  • If none of above options is possible or you do not wish to accept an alternative property, we will cancel the booking and refund all money paid to us. We shall not be held liable and shall not pay any further compensation/damages nor shall we accept any other claims derived from the cancellation.
7. Problems & Damages

By booking with us you are sepsonsible for any dameged caused by you during your stay in the property you book. You must fully pay any damage direct at the time happened.Where damage is not identified until after your departure, we reserve the right to subsequently request full payment for this. If you fail to make payment when required, you will be responsible for meeting any claims subsequently made against us.


We expect all clients to have consideration for other people and to behave in a manner which is polite and respectful. If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of our staff or third party partner you behave in such a way as to cause danger, upset or distress or damage to property, we are entitled, without prior notice, to terminate the holiday of the person(s) concerned. This includes threatening and inappropriate behaviour, whether verbal or physical, the use of offensive language, and any action which we believe pose a risk to our staff, property owners/managers, other guests, or anyone connected with your holiday. In this situation, the person(s) concerned will be required to leave the property. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

8. Health and Safety

Swimming Pools and Jacuzzis:
Swimming pools and Jacuzzis can carry by their nature some risks. All of our guests must ensure by themself that all members of the party take care when using or being near any swimming pool at the property where you are renting. You should for example you and all members of your party physically check all the depths and layout of the pool prior to use. Please note, depth markings are not always accurate. All persons should walk rather than run around the pool and read the pool notices and our health and safety recommendations in the House Guide upon arrival. You must ensure that no-one dives into the pool at any time or enters it while under the influence of alcohol. You must check the pool every day before use and report any apparent defects, children must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult. We and the property owner have no liability for any death or personal injury arising from use of or connected with the swimming pool except to the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law.

 

Grounds:
Many of our properties are located in large, often unfenced, grounds and as such your party must take great care when exploring these. The grounds may contain drops and/or uneven grounds that carry their own inherent risks and therefore children would need to be supervised. Please take extra care when using these and ensure that children are never left unsupervised


Terraces:
Many of our properties also have balconies and/or terraces many of which are accessed up steep, narrow or uneven staircases and may feature drops and other risks. These may not be suitable for people with limited mobility. Please take extra care when using these and ensure that children are never left unsupervised and must not be allowed to climb on any railings or walls.

9. Force Majeure

WhatsOnGreece.com shall not bear any responsibility if the execution of this agreement is no longer possible because of force majeure. All of the following shall be considered force majeure: the threat of war, an act of terrorism, dangerous weather conditions, fire, flood, drought, unexpected shutting down of an airport or harbor.

10. Personal Data

WhatsOnGreece shall act in compliance with legislation about personal data protection and specifically with the GDPR. All data are provided to us by you and enable us to process your final booking and the services you request.
