MEGA DRAFI

Mega Drafi consists of two beaches just a short swim away from each other. The perfect place to hang out a day if you want to just relax, read a book and sunbathe. The little tavern on the beach serves snacks and drinks as well as renting out sunbeds and umbrellas.

ACHERON UNDERWORLD RIVER

The river called Acheron with the nearby ruins of the Necromanteion is found near Parga on the mainland opposite Corfu. It springs from the mountains in the Prefecture of Ioannina. It flows into the Ionian Sea after a course of 64 km, helping to create a wide range of ecosystems which are home to and sustain many species of plants and animals. The river cuts across the valley formed by the mountain ranges in Western Epirus and near the Municipal District of Trikastro, and passes through a narrow and magnificent gorge created by the mountains of Paramythia and Souli.

CASSOPE

Cassope is an ancient city of Epirus, giving you a glimpse into Greek history. Cassope occupies a magnificent and remote site on a high platform overlooking the sea, the Ambracian Gulf and the fertile lands to the south, and with the slopes of the Zalongo mountain to the north. It is considered one of the best remaining examples of a city built on a rectilinear street grid of a Hippodamian plan in Greece, and in general kept in a very good state for you to get a glimpse of a place of Greek culture and history.

BELLA VRAKA

A 15-minute walk from the harbour will take you to this unique beach. You cannot visit Sivota without setting foot on Bella Vraka. Once you get to the shore, you can wade through the shallow water to reach the island of Mourtemeno, or “Goat Island” as the locals call it. The coarse-grained sand is white and the water calm and crystal clear. Bring your own beach towels as well as refreshments since there are no public facilities on the beach. Beach shoes are recommended for the walk over.

DEI BEACH

Hidden behind the trees you find this stunning bay with crystal clear water and a relaxed atmosphere. The rocks surrounding DEI beach invite you to explore underwater life. A day on the beach here will always be well spent!

PARGA

It’s a 30-minute drive to another paradise of Mainland Greece, the seaside town of Parga. The architecture and natural bay of Parga, brings visuals of Amalfi Coast to mind. The Venetian Castle and the Museum of Parga are a must visit. It will be an amazing day out, as you will have your daily dose of Greek beach life, the people watching down at the port of Parga and the picturesque window shopping through the cobbled alley ways lined with boutique shops.

The Way to Sivota?

Syvota is one of the most accessible mainland coasts in Greece. There is a number of Airports in Greece you can choose to arrive from anywhere in Greece or International and then access Sivota directly by car.

(PVK) Airport of Aktion/Preveza and from there by Car Rental/Private Transfer which is an approximate 1 hour drive to Sivota.
By plane to the Airport of Thessaloniki (SKG) and from there by Car Rental/Private Transfer which is an approximate 4 hour drive to Sivota.
By plane to the Airport of Athens (ATH) and from there either a connecting flight to Airport of Aktion (PVK) or Airport of Ioannina (IOA), or by car Car Rental/Private Transfer which is an approximate 5 hour drive from Athens and a 1 hour drive from Ioannina or 1 hour drive from Aktion to Sivota.
By ferry to the Port of Igoumenitsa from the Port of Corfu. The drive from Igoumenitsa by Car Rental/Private Transfer is approximately 30 minutes to Sivota.
