If you have 7 nights planned for your Slow Living Meganisi Getaway, the plan we have for you, is its beauty in simplicity. Every morning, whatever time the sun and the crickets singing away get you up, you can set your own pace and start ticking off the 7 beaches we recommend.
Meganisi consists of 3 villages which are, the mountain village of Katomeri and the other two Vathy and Spartochori, which are the most convenient and organized for your daily slow living lifestyle. Vathy is the islands main port, so you do have more going on with yachts and motorboats coming in during the summer sunset to moor overnight. Once everyone has settled and ready to embrace the compolitan evening feel, these are the two villages you choose from to enjoy your catch of the day and local boutique wine.
The Way to Meganisi?
Meganisi is easy to reach, while still feeling peaceful and private, but enjoying the authenticity of arriving on water and having one of our On-Site Concierge Specialists waiting at the dock, like you are visiting an old friend.
- (PVK) Airport of Aktion/Preveza and from there by Car Rental or Private Transfer Transfer to Nidri Port on Lefkada where you will take the Local Ferry Boat or upon pre-arrival request our Prive Speed Boat
- (ATH) Eleftherios Venizelos Airport of Athens and from there either a connecting flight to (PVK) Airport of Aktion/Preveza or (IOA) Airport of Ioannina, or by Car Rental or Private Transfer get to Nidri Port Lefkada in approximately 4 hours’ drive. Then you will onboard the Local Ferry Boat direct to Meganisi which will take only 30 minutes. In toal the travel time will be at the most 5 hours in total.
