SIVOTA VILLAGE

Sivota Bay in Lefkada although today is a traditional Greek Fishing Village dates back to Ancient Greek Mythology associated with the journey of Odysseus and the poet Homer. Sivota is a natural hidden away harbour that will remind you of Greece of the ’80s and ’90s with the friendliest and most hospitable of atmospheres that is ideal for families.

PORTO KATSIKI BEACH

One of the most photographed beaches in the world. The impressive white cliff, created by mother nature over the centuries, has become an icon of the island of Lefkada. You can reach Porto Katsiki by boat from Vasiliki or by car. In the early to mid-morning hours the cliff provides natural shade over the entire beach and the crystal blue waters. At the end of the day this is one of the most romantic spots on the island offering spectacular sunset views.

MILOS BEACH

A favorite of many locals, Milos beach is a true gem of Lefkada. The village of Agios Nikitas is the go-to point to get to Milos Beach either via trekking over the mountainside or by taxi-boat from the seafront of Agios Nikitas. Once the beach appears before you, you will feel that you have found a hidden paradise. One of the most virgin and untouched beaches on the entire island, and the perfect place to relax and enjoy the Ionian Sea at her very best.

EGREMNI BEACH

Egremni may be less well-known than Porto Katsiki, it is truly the pride and joy of the locals on the island. This beach on the west coast of Lefkada, according to Travel + Leisure magazine, is one of the "13 Places Where You Can See the Bluest Water in the World.” Egremni can only be accessed by boat or on foot. This beach is best enjoyed in the morning or later or late afternoon. The 30-minute walk from the parking area includes 440 stairs and is not for the faint of heart!

MEGALI PETRA BEACH

Megali Petra means Big Rock and gets its name from the many large stones that lie across the shore of the beach, provide shade later in the day and make for a fun day for both adults and children. Starting from the traditional village of Kalamitsi you will wind down to the coastline to Megali Petra and get within walking distance of the fantastic Kavalikefta beach. This beach should be on the bucket list for all visitors to Lefkada!

AGIOS NIKITAS

Just 15 minutes from the town of Lefkada, it is enough to discover one of the most charming villages of the island. It is about Agios Nikitas, a seaside village located northwest of Lefkada, between Pefkoulia and Kathisma and masterfully combines simplicity with cosmopolitanism. Here you feel like you are transported back in time. Magnificent stone-built houses sprawling amphitheaterly across the village, winding cobbled streets, courtyards laden with bougainvillea, geraniums and basils and a dreamy tiny bay with crystal clear waters waiting to blow your mind this summer.

NIDRI WATERFALLS

Nidri Waterfalls is a must on your next Villa Holiday to Lefkada. As in its name its located in the region of Nidri but in its outskirts surrounded by a mountain range and olive groves. Its easy enough to get there by car but making it an experience renting bicycles in Nidri to get there, makes for a more enjoyable day.

NIDRI TOWN

Nidri is the tourism hub of the island. It is where tourism started on the island back in the 1970s with the infamous name ‘Aristotle Onassis’. The island of Aristotle Onassis, named Scorpios, is part of the scenery from the port of Nidri. Nidri is a cosmopolitan town offering everything from restaurants of every cuisine, boutique stores, beach bars, water sport activities and the most popular daily boat cruises.

The Way to Lefkada?

Ionian Island of Lefkada is one of the most accessible islands in Greece. A number of Airports in Greece you can choose to arrive from anywhere in Greece or International and then access Lefkada by car via its unique floating bridge, which joins it to the mainland of Greece.

(PVK) Airport of Aktion/Preveza and from there by Car Rental or Private Transfer which is an approximate 30 minute drive to Lefkada Town.
(ATH) Eleftherios Venizelos Airport of Athens and from there either a connecting flight to (PVK) Airport of Aktion/Preveza or (IOA) Airport of Ioannina, or by Car Rental or Private Transfer which is an approximate 4 hour drive from Athens and a 2 hour drive from Ioannina to the island of Lefkada.
By ferry to the Port of Igoumenitsa from Corfu or to the Port of Nidri in Lefkada from the Port of Fiscardo in Kefalonia. The drive from Igoumenitsa by Car Rental or Private Transfer is approximately 2 hours to the island of Lefkada.
