A short walk over shallow water will take you to the island of Mourtemeno, or “Goat Island” as the locals call it. Do not get surprised if you must share the beach with the island’s many goats that more than happily visit the sunbathing guests. The coarse-grained sand is white and the water calm and crystal clear. The beach is used by The Retreat hotel guests and is partly occupied by their sports equipment. The sunbeds belong to the hotel guests so bring your own beach towels as well as refreshments since there are no facilities on the beach. Beach shoes are recommended for the walk over.

The beach that belongs to Karvouno villa complex has got sunbeds and umbrellas for rent and a beach bar and restaurant.

This popular beach is well worth a visit even though it is well visited by boat trips from Corfu and Sivota and a fantastic place for snorkelling and swimming.

Two of Sivota most recommended restaurants are located on Mega Ammos, Olivia Sea and Shellfish restaurant and Ionion Fish restaurant. MIKRI AMMOS

Mikri Ammos means Little Ammos and is a little bay with crystal clear waters and amazing snorkelling. Mikri Ammos beach club and restaurant offer you a relaxed chilled vibe as well as nice food and sun lounges throughout the week. Amazing snorkelling and the perfect place to hang out a day if you want to just relax and read a book and sunbathe. The little tavern serves snacks and drinks as well as renting out sunbeds and umbrellas.

AGIA PARASKEVI

Agia Paraskevi means St. Friday and is named after the little chapel located up on the hill. This stunning sandy beach with a view overlooking an island is one of Sivota´s gems and a must to visit during your stay in Sivota. Swim over to the island in just a few minutes and enjoy the tiny white sandy beach and catch your breath before swimming back to the main beach again. Enjoy your lunch at one of the restaurants located at the beach front.

Arilla beach in Perdika is in a bay protected from the wind. This beach with shallow, calm water is perfect for the families.

Arilla beach is the only beach with fine sand in the Sivota area. This rather unusual dark grey sand invites nice strolls on the beach and playing in the sand. The beach is divided up in two and has one natural side as well as one with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Psarokókkalo Arílla Fishbone restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy today’s catch from the sea.

If you get bored of sunbathing, you can try out the water sports located on the right side of the beach or just take a long stroll along the beach. The size of the beach makes you feel like you are on a deserted beach even during the peak season. Enjoy a drink or lunch in one of the many bars and restaurants located along the seafront.
